Individual Counselling

Couples Counselling

Jason is a Queer and Indigenous Registered Psychologist, sex and relationship therapist, and former acupuncturist and massage therapist with over a decade of combined experience supporting individuals and couples in healing, growth, and self-connection.

Drawing on a deep foundation in somatic psychotherapy, parts work, and Indigenous and Eastern philosophies, Jason specializes in working with those navigating sexual shame, identity, desire, and relational challenges — especially where these intersect with experiences of oppression, trauma, and marginalization.

Before becoming a psychologist, Jason spent years practicing as an acupuncturist and massage therapist, where his work was deeply shaped by an understanding of how emotional pain is stored in and expressed through the body. This early focus on holistic, mind-body healing continues to guides his approach today. He is passionate about helping clients move beyond purely cognitive insight, and instead reconnect with embodied wisdom to foster meaningful, lasting change.

In addition to his specialization in sex and relationship therapy, Jason has a particular interest in supporting individuals experiencing OCD with distressing, intrusive thoughts related to sexuality — such as pedophilia OCD (P-OCD) and sexual orientation OCD (SO-OCD). Jason offers a non-judgmental, compassionate space where clients can explore and address these painful and often misunderstood struggles with sensitivity and care.

Jason has worked in a variety of settings, including private practice and community health, and is dedicated to creating inclusive, affirming spaces for BIPOC, queer, neurodivergent, and spiritually-minded individuals. His work often focuses on topics that are considered taboo or difficult to talk about — such as sexual shame, kink, non-monogamy, erotic recovery after trauma, and the interplay of sexuality with cultural identity — always with sensitivity, curiosity, and deep respect for each person’s unique journey.

Jason’s therapeutic style is relational, compassionate, and collaborative. He integrates somatic awareness, parts mapping, and body-based practices with talk therapy, supporting clients in unmasking conditioned patterns, building shame resilience, and stepping into greater authenticity. He believes in centering the therapeutic relationship as a space for genuine connection, safety, and transformation.

Outside of his professional work, Jason enjoys playing volleyball (middle blocker); volunteering in harm reduction at music festivals; spending time in nature; and continuing his journey as a lifelong student (sex, psychedelics, and spirituality).
